Greetings! My name is Rosa González, I am a Family and Community Doctor in Linares (Jaén). I am going to embark on the adventure of doing medical volunteering in India, where English is one of the official languages along with Hindi, in November. Since I hadn’t practised English for a long time, I went to Edukacción in Linares asking for help to practice my speaking.
To my surprise, they voluntarily offered me classes free of charge. After getting to know them, I discovered that they collaborate with another NGO in Linares, offering language classes to immigrants. After finishing a month of classes with them, I feel much more confident in my speaking and ready for my adventure. I am very grateful for the attention I received from Gunnar and Patricia. It is a pleasure to be involved with projects so committed to social causes. As it would be said in Hindi: «Dhanyavaad»!
